| Gente, eu não posso deixar de mostrar isso pra vocês. Um típico caso de preconceito racial, onde se julga o talento pela cor da pele.
Navegando pelas páginas da Sonora, mais precisamente no link http://sonora.terra.com.br/#/Cd/219926/awadagin_pratt_beethoven_piano_sonatas encontrei as sonatas 7, 9, 30 e 31 extremamente bem tocadas, mas muito bem tocadas mesmo, por Awadagin Pratt, pianista negro norte-americano, que eu não conhecia. E como já é um hábito meu, fui ao Amazon conferir se havia alguma resenha sobre o CD. E surpreendentemente eu encontrei isto: 14 comentários (número considerável), 10 com a nota máxima e os quatro restantes com a pior nota possível. Muito estranho. Estranho mesmo é o conteúdo desses quatro comentários. Leiam eles agora, reproduzidos na íntegra: 1. “My, My! Where does one begin? Dull, flat, uninspired? Maybe, uninteresting. Beethoven is one of the more complex composers to interpret. Mr. Pratt shouldn't expose himself on such demanding material; simply not a career booster. Skip this one!” 2. “Strikes me much as eating Chicken McNuggets for Thanksgiving: anonymous, empty, liquified, semi-sorta-processed, wanna-be meat that one's a bit ashamed of ingesting, yet very amusing regardless that it exists in the first place. F+” 3. “Sadly, after repeated examination, it indeed appears that the soon-to-be 36-year-old Pratt indeed splices his recordings--i.e., he takes the best individual moments he can come up with to achieve superficial result. Personally, I prefer "honest" classical musicians when I listen to classical, as is generally the standard, though I suppose there may be those who simply want to hear what they want to hear for whatever reason.” 4. “A pity of mankind, had it not so grossly combined arrogance and ignorance.” Ouçam o CD na própria página da Sonora (link acima).
